“Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Our church was born of a vision to create a ministry that spreads the love of Christ. Through the Faith in Action of our Clergy, past Parish Councils, Building Committee leaders, and dedicated members and donors, we have been blessed to transform 10 acres on Kuykendall Road into a thriving community of Orthodox faithful who have committed . . .
“. . . to provide a loving, caring and welcoming environment where all belong and grow in the faith through worship, service, witness and fellowship.”
In pursuing this vision, we have built a magnificent Sanctuary and a vibrant Spiritual Life Center that bear witness to our promise. We are now challenged to fulfill this promise to provide for current and for future generations-- to continue our ministry so that all can belong and can grow as Orthodox Christians.
Over four years ago in 2016, we launched the “Burn the Mortgage: Build the Ministry Center” when our balance was just over $2.3 million. Since then, $1.7 million has been received towards burning the mortgage—which is now at $585,000. Glory be to God.
It is time now to turn our attention to Build the Ministry Center. The Capital Campaign Committee, coordinating with our Clergy and the Parish Council, has been working diligently on our next steps to ensure that we remain faithful to our goal and vision . . .
. . . to build for generations where all belong.
